Epic Web Solutions’ design philosophy is to understand your company and provide a website design that best represents your brand and your business objectives. We want you to send one consistent message that carries throughout your online presence. We design websites with a clear business objective that has a purpose. Our design process exposes all elements of your business and prioritizes them in a way that our design team can display the proper elements in the appropriate manner on your website.
Over the years we have developed a streamlined design process that makes the website design process easy for everyone involved. It’s true, projects get hung up in the design phase. Knowing this, we have all of our clients fill out a questionnaire, prioritize business objectives and provide marketing materials that enables our design team to provide them with the best web designs possible. Our design team has the experience and expertise to provide explanations on the direction and design elements that they saw best represented the vision.
We break our web design process into the following steps:
1.) Kick-Off Meeting for Strategy
We sit down with the customer to learn about the business, the vision and competition. The customer will fill out a long questionnaire asking questions about goals, taste, industry trends and competition.
2.) Web Design
We take what we learned from the first step and product a design comp for the customer to review. This will include design best practices and customers branding requirements. We continue the comp/revision process until the customer signs off on the design.
3.) Web Development
This is where the customer's design turns into code. Our developers get busy converting the design into responsive HTML/CSS code. This is also where we would code for WordPress if this was a WordPress web design. All designs are responsive and compatible from mobile to desktop on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
4.) QA/Testing and Launch
We now use manual and automated tools to test the website to make sure it yields the expected functionality. Once QA/testing is complete we will launch the website. Using internal pre-launch/post-launch checklists we make sure the transition from your existing website (if you have one) is seamless and no traffic or search engine value is lost.
5.) Support & Optimization
After you go live, you will want to get the most out of your website. Design, marketing, or maintenance; we'll be at your side for the life of your site.
